  Cassie then shrugged her shoulders and went in. She walked into find Sandy, Kate, and Jen painting each others nails. She stood in the doorway and put her hands on her hips.

  "Uh oh."Sandy said, looking at Cassie's vile exspression.

  "Uh oh is right!," Cassie said. "You left me out there to burn under the sun, then the tide nearly drowned me!" Cassie exsclaimed.

  "Jen said we would go get ice cream, and that you would eventually wake up and come on home after you got your tan!" Kate said, while applying Aloe Avera on Cassie's crisp, red, peeling face.

  "So, How did you get out of the sand? We put about 10 pounds on you." Jen said, snickering at that.

  "A gorgeous boy helped me up. And, he walked me back. His name is Luke."Cassie said, trying to remember what he looked like. "Then, he just dissipeard. Like he was a ghost or something." Cassie said.

  "There are no boys named Luke here." Jen said, "I know everyone here, it's a small town. After dinner, do ya'll wanna go down to the Sana Monica Pier?" Jen said, smiling.

  After dinner, they went to the Pier. There was four of them, so it was even.

  "Let's Ride the bumper cars!" Kate yelled, with all of the girls run towards them but Cassie.

  "Ya'll go, I'm going to get some Cotton Candy." Cassie said, wondering if they even heard her.

  "One cotton candy please." Cassie told the lady.

  "Uh, make it two." Said a voice behind her. It was Luke! They both got their cotton candy's and went to ride the ferris wheel.

  "So, where do you live?" Cassie asked wondering if it was nearby.

  "Right there," he said, pointing to what she saw was thin air.

  "Oh," said Cassie, acting like she saw it.

  "So, Where is your boyfriend?" Luke asked, looking around for him.

  "I don't have one," Cassie said, looking down.

  "Maybe we can change that." Luke said, smiling at Cassie. Cassie blushed, she knew it, because she felt her cheeks burn. The ride stopped, and they held hands for a little while and then went off untill Cassie thought. She let go of his hand for a minuite, to turn and talk to him.

  "Hey, there is someone I want you to meet," She said, turning to see no Luke.

  "Hey Cass!" Kate, And the rest of them yelled.

  "What are you looking for?" Jen said.

  "Luke, he was right here, just a minuite ago-"Cassie said, while being inturuppted by Jen.

  "Yeah, Uh, huh, sure." Jen said. Cassie didn't care what Jen thought. She had seen Luke. But where did he go?
