   Cassie looked in the mirror to find herself noticing that she was terribly pale, a need a tan. She looked at herself from top to bottom. She thought about how she would get one, considoring that she lived in New York City. She looked in the bathroom cabnet where she stood, looking for some sunless tanning, because she could lay on the roof of the apartment, but it had been raining for a total of nine days. She wondered if it would ever stop raining, because if it didn't she would have to build an Ark. Her mind raced with exotic ideas, and thoughts, wondering if the sun would ever shine, or she could get a tan.

 "Brrrring, Brrrrring, Brrrrring," Her cell phone rang. "Brrrring, Brrrrring, Brrrrring."

  "Hello?" Cassie answered, forgetting to look at the caller ID. 

  "Hey Cass!, It's Me, Jennifer. This weekend my parents were flying me out to Los Angelos to my beach house, and they are going out of town, and They didn't want me to be in the House all alone, so they told me that I could invite three friends. I'm inviting you, Kate, and Sandy. They both said yes, So what do you say?" Jennifer said. Cassie remembered Jen. Jen had a cool beach house, but she remembered that her little brother Jake had died a few years ago when he drowend at the lake with her, Kate, and Sandy. Jennifer was mad at them for months. She wouldn't talk to them, or anything. So, Cassie agreed.

 Cassie packed her bags and went to the airport where she saw Sandy and Kate. Kate had the most bags Cassie had ever seen. They boared the plane, and Cassie sat next to Kate, then Sandy. About five long hours, the plane finally landed. Cassie, Kate, and Sandy saw Jen, waving and jumping up and down like she had always been, before the accident. Jen acted like nothing had happend.

  The ride to the beach house was filled with laughter, who was going out with who, and gossip. Everyone decided that when they got to the house and settled in, they'd go to the beach.

  On the way to the beach, Cassie thought about her tan, hoping that it would come out they way she planned.

  "Let's bury Cassie in the sand and take a picture!" Jen suggested, Sandy and Kate both agreed. They patted sand all over Cassie, and took the picture. Cassie began to fall asleep, when she heard Kate say something about Her Jen and Sandy going to get some Ice Cream. Cassie fell into a deep sleep...

  Cassie woke up with her face burning in pain, it hurt to open her eyes. She tried to move but something stopped her from moving. She started wiggling, trying to break free but something was holding her body down. She screamed for help, the tide was coming close, if she didn't get free soon, she would drown.

 "Help!" Cassie cried, her voice crackled. "This is it" She thought, she held her breath, whens something pulled her up and saved her. It was a boy, who was gorgeous. Really gorgeous.

 "Hi," the boy said,"I'm Luke."

 "Hey," replied Cassie, Dazing into his amazing blue eyes."I'm Cassie, thank you for saving me." she said.

  "No problem. Where do you live I will walk you back." Luke replied. Cassie pointed to Jen's beach house, and they walked back.

  "Thanks again for walking me home I-" Cassie turned around, to find nothing. Not the gorgeous boy Luke, Nobody. Like a ghost, he dissiperd in thin air.
